NHS Sussex recognises there may occasionally be individual cases where a patient’s needs cannot be met through existing commissioned services.
For some of these cases, an individual funding request (IFRs) can be made.

West Sussex SPACE is a group made up from clinicians across the health economy in West Sussex, from both primary and secondary care.
The group works together to make recommendations to healthcare commissioners on clinical policies, treatment thresholds, and the clinical and cost effectiveness of treatments or interventions.
