NHS Sussex Annual Report and Accounts 2011/12

Here are the annual accounts from each of the Primary Care Trusts across Sussex, and the 2011/12 Annual Report for NHS Sussex.

NHS Sussex Equality and Diversity Annual Report

This is the NHS Sussex Equality and Diversity Annual Report for 2011-12. It includes the activity undertaken by all four constituent PCTs and NHS Sussex over the last year to promote equality, eliminate discrimination and promote good relations between different groups, and provides examples of how we have worked to meet our General and Specific Equality Duties.

NHS Sussex Equality and Diversity Objectives 2012-13

NHS Sussex has developed Equality and Diversity Objectives for 2012-13 which describe our key priorities and aims for continuing to improve equality and diversity for all NHS patients.

These objectives were developed in response to our E&D Annual report - building on our achievements and prioritising our work through stakeholder engagement and involvement. They enable us to focus on how everything we do – either strategically as a cluster, or locally through Clinical Commissioning Groups – contributes to delivering greater equality for all.

The objectives remain 'live' and may be further developed and prioritised should the needs of our local communities change or become clearer in focus. In partnership with CCGs, providers and other stakeholders we will develop robust metrics to show how we are progressing our work.

You can download the objectives at the link below. If you have any comments or thoughts on the Equality Objectives, questions about the Equality and Diversity Annual Report, or if you would like to request versions of these documents in an alternate format or language, please contact p.seddon@nhs.net
