What is public engagement?

Public Engagement (PE) means discussing our plans with patients and the public, getting your views and thoughts on these plans and what you want from health services, and explaining why services need to change.

It is about enabling patients and the public to have a say and the NHS listening to and acting upon their views.

How you can get involved

There are many ways for you to get involved in the work of NHS West Sussex - from joining our membership scheme to sharing your views in consultations.

Visit the Talk to us page for the latest ways to get involved.

Alternatively, for more information about Public Engagement, contact the Public Engagement team on 01903 708498 or email ws-pct.cwsppe@nhs.net

West Sussex Local Involvement Network (LINk)

LINks are independent statutory organisations that seek the views of local people about health and social care services in their area.

They report their findings to the NHS and local authorities who are legally obliged to give LINks any information they need and respond to the recommendations LINks make.

Visit the West Sussex LINk website for more information.
